Head of the Technology Committee -Haya Zilberboim, CPA, BBA, MA.Ed
Haya has vast experience in the business environment and the high tech industry. In Israel, she served as Managing Director and Partner in Mentorlink, an investing banking company. As well, she served as CFO and COO of Golden Screen and as CFO of Robomatix, a company traded in NASDAQ.At present, a manager in KPMG Canada in the Information, Communication and entertainment (ICE) group. She started her professional career as a CPA in Somekh Chaikin (KPMG Israel) in 1987.Haya's vision is that we need to take our destiny in our hands. What we will wish and do is what we will have.
Adrian Kofler, BA, MBA, CPA
Adrian worked as an Internal Auditor for 5 years and as a Chief Financial Officer for 10 years in one of the largest privet companies in Israel. He is currently the Director of Marketing and Sales for a Cellular Booster Manufacture.His objective is to network with Israeli entrepreneur and to explore new business opportunities.
Dr. Rachel Higgins, B.Sc, M.Sc, PhD
Rachel has teaching credentials from Israel, where she worked as a Special Education and Elementary school teacher. In Canada, she pursued a career in Science and Medicine.Rachel is a Molecular and Medical Geneticist with ample research and teaching experience in Cancer, Diabetes and Infectious Disease.She is a volunteer at heart and would like to see a happy, healthy, successful and vibrant Israeli Business Community.
Mordi Geist, B.Sc , M. Eng
Born and raised in Kibbutz Nir-David and served in ö.ä.ìas an officer in ñééøú ùøéåï. His work experience includes assistingsmall to medium size manufacturing plants in improving working methods and enhancing productivity. As well, hedesigns floor shop layouts and production flow.
Mordi wants to see more Israeli companies penetrate into the Canadian market.
Yoram Shalmon, B.Sc (Eng), MBA
Yoram has worked in reputable companies in Israel and Canada, including: Tadiran, Nortel and Destinator Technologies.In 2006, Yoram founded Kinjo, which provides location based services for mobile users.Yoram's personal vision for the IBF is to create an exclusive "club" that will reward its members with a wide business network, recognized for its values, and will attract reputable Canadian and Israeli companies.
Meir Shenhav, B.Sc (Eng)
Meir is a very experienced Hardware R&D engineer and manager in the various fields of analog and digital electronics, servo and electricity. Meir had spent more than 15 years in technical and managerial positions in the Israeli High-Tech industry. A recent immigrant to Canada with a burning desire to contribute to the IBF organization and to help high-tech entrepreneurs from the Jewish-Israeli community.
Mike Behar, B.Sc, MBA
18 years of experience in the field of Information Technology (IT) of which the last 7 years at the forefront of technology in a leading and fast growing company, Mercury (acquired by HP). Mike is also a consultant on Business Service Management to Fortune 500 companies and is the founder of Appsolut consulting Inc.Mike's stated objective is to influence and help the Israeli-Canadian business community.
