Israel is a powerful technology country. In the past 5 years, we can see significant migration of professional Israelis that came from the technology market in Israel to Toronto area, with strong skills, knowledge, experience and recourses.
There is a great deal of unexploited synergy between Israeli-Canadian technology businesses.  Many Israeli-Canadian professionals are confronted with similar challenges, which given their similar social background, are often handled using the same methodologies.  There is a certain familiarity and commonality in language, value systems, business norms, and social conduct between Israelis that could set a firm base for successful business collaboration.  There is also information, business opportunities, and hurdles that discretely relate to those that are doing business between Canada and Israel.  The technology committee will enable its members to capture such synergy by having them meet, converse, consult, get educated on relevant business matters, and potentially do more business with each other. 
To support these individuals and companies, and create shortcuts in building their new infrastructure and networking in the new country, the Technology committee has come with the following vision and mission.
